Kerlouan's chapels

Descriptif

A rich religious heritage...

Saint Egarec chapel:

This chapel dates back to the 15 century and was built by the lords of Coëtmenec'h. This flamboyant Gothic-style chapel boasts a low nave and low archways.
Every Tuesday in July and August, a "tales evening" takes place in the chapel.

Saint Anne chapel:

This chapel was built in 1605 and was the parish church up until 1860 when it was decided it was too small and insalubrious as several parishioners were buried there.  The building project for the new church was accepted by Napolean III and so Saint Brévalaire church saw the light of day.  Thus, Kerlouan has two churches.
